Dade Deltas Foundation, Inc. participates in a wide array of projects and services focusing on improving the quality of life for individuals, and families with an overall goal of strengthening our communities.

With a grant from the Enterprise Holdings Foundation, DDF through a series of workshops provided instructions to youth in character building, life skills, responsible use of social media platforms, sound nutrition, physical and mental health fitness: “The Enterprising Me”; “Nurturing the Fifth Sense” and “Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies and Happy Youth”.

Autistic students experience frequent and unexpected feelings of anxiety, which interferes with their daily life and ability to focus and concentrate. Our “Autism….A Calming Piece of the Puzzle” project in partnership with Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida Troop #347 provides support to Norwood Elementary autistic students by providing volunteer hours, the creation of a classroom “Calming Center” and library.

In an effort to support the existing homeless service network and focusing on veterans, DDF in partnership with Builders, Inc. provides monthly donations of “socks & shirts” and packaged food to those presenting themselves in need.

DDF provides annual cap and gowns to preschoolers and scholarships to needy college-bound students in support of their supplemental needs such as books, computers, and other supplies and equipment.

DDF provides volunteer hours to the following community events:

Farm Share and Book Bag Giveaway; Christmas Toy Drive and Giveaway; Thanksgiving Baskets; and Hurricane Preparedness Education.
