Who Are We?

Dade Deltas Foundation, Inc., (DDF) is an approved 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization established on July 2, 2012, by ten members of and in partnership with Dade County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. to receive, invest and distribute funds for charitable, educational and philanthropic purposes.  While DDF maintains a robust partnership with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., they are two independent and separately operated organizations.

The Mission of DDF is to promote programs designed to improve the quality of life for those residing in Miami-Dade County from early childhood through the senior years.  DDF will achieve its mission by implementing, providing and supporting programs that promote the social welfare, health & wellness, academic excellence, cultural enrichment in the community and support organizations whose initiatives are consistent with DDF ’s programs and projects.

These programs and projects include but are not limited to economic and educational development; international awareness and involvement; physical and mental health; and political awareness and involvement initiatives.

A significant number of our initiatives are achieved through our collaboration and partnership with other community entities that include: Norland Middle School, Norwood Elementary School, Jackson Medical Center North, Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida Troop # 347, Evolutionary Arts Life Foundation, Alexis Harris – State Farm Insurance, and Sigma Alpha Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

Like our partners, our supporters are key to our overall success and include: Miami-Dade County Commissioner Audrey M. Edmondson, TaxDrz.Com, Lo’s Doughs, TyTy’s Kitchen, Yvonne Goggins, Vonda Kemp, Mamye Moore, New Birth Baptist Church Cathedral of Faith International, Miami Suns Girls Basketball, and Dade Deltas Foundation’s Circle of Friends.
